Charlene’s passion for architecture stems from her interest in residential improvement. After leaving the workforce, where she was employed as a Project Coordinator and Land Development Engineer throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan, she finally arrived at the University of Calgary to pursue her dream as an Architect. Here her interests developed to include experiential architecture, design for disassembly, and timber construction. Outside of studio she enjoys traveling, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog.
