Hanna Poulsen


Recently graduated from the University of Calgary, I am eager to pursue a career in Architecture and Urban design. I am interested in design at all scales, and hope to create thoughtfully, sustainably, and socially. Aside from architecture my interests include traveling, graffiti, music, and running.

Work Experience 
GEC Architecture - Summer Student
May – August 2019
  • As a summer student I gained professional design experience by assisting the GEC team with multiple projects. I had the opportunity to learn by being exposed to architecture at various scales, including transit, arenas, recreational centers, and educational facilities.
University of Calgary - Research Assistant
April 2018 – May 2019 
  • Assisting Dr. Marit Rosol with research regarding food justice and security in Canadian cities was a valuable experience that broadened my understanding of food issues. I gained and refined skills regarding researching, editing, and transcribing.
